Currently, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure uses a virtual queue and Genie+ due to its popularity. However, the ride will use neither for these unique occasions. Get the scoop here so you don’t miss out!
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure just opened on June 28, 2024. It currently uses a virtual queue as well as Genie+ to manage crowds and wait times.
Disney has said the virtual queue will be dropped once popularity dies down. While we do not know when that will happen, we hope it is soon! It is impossible to get a virtual queue for both Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and TRON during the 7:00 am drop.
There is a bit of light at the end of the tunnel as the attraction will not utilize the virtual queue in unique situations.
No Virtual Queues
Disney World will not utilize a virtual queue for both Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and TRON during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.
This will certainly make it easier for Guests attending the event to just be able to get in line for the attraction when they want to and not have to work plans around the return time.
However, we actually don’t recommend riding either during the event.
Why not?
Unless MNNSHP is your ONLY chance to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure (or TRON for that matter), we don’t recommend riding them during the party. In fact, unless there is a special overlay we don’t recommend riding any attractions!
There are so many entertainment and character opportunities that are exclusive to MNSSHP.
MNSSHP has so many unique offerings that we recommend using the event hours to experience those instead of riding attractions that can be done with a regular daytime ticket. There are fireworks, parades, rare characters, and trick-or-treating to do!
By all means, if you do not have a daytime ticket to Magic Kingdom and/or you are just interested in riding rides the party will be a good way to experience them. We recommend getting in line during the mix-in hours of 4:00 to 6:00 pm or at the very end of the night to maximize your time.
