Disney has made an update to the list of attractions for their upcoming holiday parties. What does this update mean for you?
Refurbishments
When planning a trip to Walt Disney World, there are some things you just cannot predict. One is Florida weather. Another is the long list of ongoing refurbishments that might be happening during your vacation.
Refurbishments are always happening throughout the year at Walt Disney World. You can run into them in the parks or resorts. It is good to stay updated on certain refurbishments because they can make your plans for the day change!
Recently, Disney World announced a refurbishment for Jungle Cruise. The attraction is scheduled to close beginning August 26, 2024.
How Will This Affect Your Trip?
With so many refurbishments happening at Walt Disney World, plans might need to change! So far, Peter Pan’s Flight is currently closed until August 20th. Country Bear Jamboree is also undergoing refurbishment, but is expected to reopen later this month.
Entertainment closures are also at the Magic Kingdom right now. Thankfully, these closures are only for a few weeks.
Holiday Parties
If you are heading to a special event, be aware that refurbishments will also affect the parties. Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party begins August 9, 2024. Today, Disney has confirmed that Jungle Cruise will not be an available attraction for this event.
Jungle Cruise has been removed from the list of attractions for holiday parties at Walt Disney World in 2024.
It is also interesting to note that Jungle Cruise has been removed from the list of available attractions for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. The website still includes a reference to the very popular Jingle Cruise overlay, but it is not under the list of attractions for Adventureland.
With no reopening date announced for the attraction, it is hard to determine just how long Jungle Cruise will be unavailable. We hope that it returns in time for the holidays!
Will you have to adjust any of your plans for either of these special events at Walt Disney World? Are you hoping to see it return later this year in time for the holiday party? Let us know in the comments below or share this post with a friend who has plans to attend.
