New Virtual Queue Change at Disney World

Nobody loves a Virtual Queue more than Walt Disney World and now there are new changes that you need to know about. Be sure to check this out before your next Walt Disney World trip.

Virtual Queues

Disney has been using virtual queues for quite some time now. The most popular way to utilize them is for attractions. Sometimes they are used to purchase tickets for an event or for merchandise.

Sometimes they can be a little nerve wracking for guests, but it’s something you will definitely need to be prepared for, because it does not look like virtual queues will be going away anytime soon.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure offers both a Virtual Queue for free or the Lightning Lane option through Disney Genie+. Currently, a stand-by queue is not available for this attraction. See more on this HERE.

New Virtual Queue Offering

Up until now, guests have two options to join the Virtual Queue for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at both 7:00 am and 1:00 pm. Now Disney makes a third opportunity for select Disney guests to join this Virtual Queue.

As with other attractions offering Virtual Queues such as TRON and Cosmic Rewind, a third Virtual Queue is available at 6:00 pm on nights with Extended Evening Hours. Now, Disney confirms that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will soon offer a 3rd Virtual Queue at 6:00 pm for Extended Evening Hours at Magic Kingdom.

What you need to know

Extended Evening Hours are typically on Wednesdays at the Magic Kingdom. Currently, the 6:00 pm Virtual Queue option for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is not available on the My Disney Experience app.

A 3rd Virtual Queue will soon be available for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

It is unclear why this Virtual Queue is not currently listed for tonight’s Extended Evening Hours. The next date Extended Evening Hours at Magic Kingdom is next Wednesday, July 24th.
