Disney has worked with experts to help grow the population of endangered or threatened species.

Disney’s conservation efforts have brought numerous baby animals from various endangered and threatened species into the world. These births are part of an initiative called the Species Survival Plan.

While Hartmann’s zebras are not endangered, the species is classified as vulnerable. So, like the other births this year, this successful birth represents a win for the team and the species.
