Magic Kingdom just made some BIG changes, and you will want to check these out! This will undoubtedly affect your Magic Kingdom touring plans.
Entertainment Changes
We recently shared that new refurbishment work at Cinderella Castle now affects the “Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire” stage show and the “Let the Magic Begin” welcome show. These will return later this month.
A couple of weeks ago, we noticed that starting August 4th, all showtimes were missing for both the Festival of Fantasy Parade and the Adventure Friends Cavalcade.
At the time, we hoped this was simply a glitch. The showtimes have now returned, but with big changes.
Festival of Fantasy Parade
The excitement and vivid pageantry of Fantasyland makes its way through Magic Kingdom in a thrilling parade spectacular. The showtimes will often change throughout the year, and at busier times 2 showtimes are available for this parade.
Typically, the Festival of Fantasy Parade runs at 3:00 pm, but starting August 4th it will change to 2:00 pm.
Starting on August 4th through the current calendar, August 31st, only one showtime is listed daily. Perhaps this will line-up with the special ticketed event, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party which begins later this week on August 9th.
Adventure Friends Cavalcade
Thankfully, the Adventure Friends Cavalcade now offers showtimes as well. As one of the last cavlacades, we hope it will continue to delight guests.
Showtime changes for Festival of Fantasy Parade and Adventure Friends Cavalcade begin August 4th.
Starting August 4th, the Adventure Friends Cavalcade will only be offered once daily at 11:15 am. This is a change from the current 2 showtiems at 10:30 am and 11:45 am.
What do you think of these changes? Do you think this may be the new normal for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party? Share your thoughts with us and share this news with your Disney pals.
