Full Guide Purchasing the New Lightning Lane Multi Pass

Just when guests were getting comfortable with Disney Genie+, Disney changes things once again. We break down how to purchase the new Lightning Lane Multi Pass, make your selections, and make modifications.

When to Purchase

Onsite Guests will be able to purchase and make selections 7 days ahead of their arrival date. Offsite Guests will be able to do so 3 days ahead. Guests can still purchase the Lightning Lane Multi Pass for the day of their visit.

The only drawback is that you are unable to make advanced selections for attractions. This means that guests purchasing Lightning Lane selections 7 days in advance will have better arrival time selections.

The process to book both Lightning Lane Multi Pass selections and your Individual Lightning Lane selections is now streamlined quite a bit which makes advanced planning even easier. Let’s take a step-by-step guide to the new system.

Step-by-Step Selections

You will start by selecting the date and park that you would like to book. You can see pricing for both the Lightning Lane Multi Pass (this is similar to the Lightning Lane selections with Genie+). You can also see pricing for the Lightning Lane Singe Pass (this is similar to the Individual Lightning Lanes with Genie+).

Now you can purchase both the Lightning Lane Single Pass and the Multi Pass in the same transaction. Simply select both and then click continue at the bottom of the screen.

You will then be directed to confirm your traveling party and click continue. The next screen will allow you to choose up to 3 attractions. The new Lightning Lane Multi Pass offers tiers except Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

You will receive a prompt to select 1 experience from the top tier. You can then select the final 2 attractions or if you prefer all 3 attractions from the 2nd tier attractions.

Once you have selected your attractions and clicked continue, you can then choose your arrival times. A listing of times is generated for you.

You have the option to “Modify Time” for each attraction. If purchasing the Lighting Lane Single Pass, you can select your return time for this attraction.

When you begin making your selections, you will have 5 minutes to complete your selections. Once you confirm all of your arrival windows, click continue to finally checkout.

How to make changes

Your plans are all set, but now you need to make some changes. No worries, once you have made your selections simply click “Modify”.

You can now purchase the Lightning Lane Multi Pass and the Lightning Lane Single Pass in the same transaction.

You will then have the option to modify your arrival time or you can “Cancel Booking” and choose a different available attraction.
