Halloween is just around the corner! In the eyes of Disney, anyway. We will see some new characters out and about at one of the Halloween events this year!
Oogie Boogie Bash
The Oogie Boogie Bash event is returning to Disney California Adventure Park for the 2024 Halloween season, offering more nights than ever before. This separately ticketed after-hours event welcomes guests, including adults, to show off their favorite Halloween costumes.
The event is filled with villainous characters that are sure to please people of all ages!
The bash promises a fun-filled evening with treat trails, character sightings, special entertainment, themed merchandise, and exclusive food and beverages.
New Characters
I (Monica) had the chance to visit back in 2022! It was a fantastic event, and you can read my review HERE.
Every year, the characters change a bit. For example, when I visited I saw Bruno, Ernesto de la Cruz, and the Sanderson sisters. There are many more on the trick-or-treat trails as well!
Disney just teased us with two new character meets: Hades from Hercules and Dr. Doofenshmirtz from Phineas and Ferb! Check out the video below:
What does this mean for you?
Hades met back in 2021 at Oogie Boogie Bash with Megara, but it seems likely that he will be a face character this year so he can interact more with Guests. I guess that’s what they mean by *new*.
With other rare character meets, lines will be long to see these two. We recommend lining up before the event begins or later in the evening.
Oogie Boogie Bash is completely sold out for 2024, but there may be very limited same-day availability. If you don’t have tickets you can always check first thing in the morning at the park.
