Refurbishments at Disney World
Occasionally, our favorite attractions, restaurants, shops, and even sections of hotels are closed for a minor or sometimes major refurbishment. These refurbishments can sometimes greatly affect your vacation.
Refurbishments are necessary to keep the hotels, attractions, shops, and other experiences running at their best.
Earlier this summer we shared several hotel refurbishments. Guests staying at POP Century were notified that Everything POP Food Court would close for a refurbishment that began on July 29th. All Star Movies Guests received a similar email. All Star Sports Guests will experience a refurbishment at the resort’s gift shop.
Disney’s Candy Cauldron
Candy Cauldron is located at Disney Springs West Side. Here you can find tasty Disney character-inspired treats. You can even see the desserts being made in the show kitchen.

Disney’s Candy Cauldron will be temporarily closed for refurbishment. This closure started on August 5, 2024. At this time there is no end date announced for this refurbishment.
What Does This Mean for You?
Guests visiting Disney Springs will still be able to get delicious treats. Those looking to purchase these goodies are encouraged to visit Goofy’s Candy Company.

Goofy’s Candy Company is located in the Market Place at Disney Springs. As this is on the opposite side of Disney Springs you can expect about a 10-minute walk.
