Disney has just announced when Guests can expect to see Jungle Cruise reopen. We have the details on when it will reopen.
Refurbishments
Occasionally, our favorite attractions, restaurants, shops, and even sections of hotels are closed for a minor or sometimes major refurbishment. These refurbishments can sometimes greatly affect your vacation.
Refurbishments are necessary to keep the hotels, attractions, shops, and other experiences running at their best.
Check out one of the latest refurbishment announcements HERE.
Jungle Cruise Refurbishment
Back on July 9th, we shared that the Jungle Cruise in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom was scheduled for refurbishment. The refurbishment was listed on the My Disney Experience app to close on August 24th. There was no re-opening timeline provided at that time. You can read the announcement of the closure HERE.
We know that this is an extensive refurbishment and is needed to keep the attraction available at optimal performance. We were informed that the refurbishment involves replacing some of the tracks that the boats follow through the attraction.
Even though Disney did not announce a specific reopening date, there was speculation on when the attraction would reopen. We were informed that the attraction will open “before the Winter holidays begin.”
Reopening Date Announced
Disney has just shared when the Jungle Cruise will reopen. On the My Disney Experience App the Jungle Cruise will reopen on October 18th, 2024.
The Jungle Cruise is set to reopen on October 18, 2024.
We are excited to see this attraction return before the Holiday season. Be prepared crew, we still expect to see a lengthy refurbishment sometime soon for Big Thunder Mountain. At this time, that date has not been announced.
