We knew that Animal Kingdom would be getting an update, but now we know about three brand-new attractions Disney has planned. Disney just announced details for DinoLand U.S.A.’s reimagining, and we have all the details.
New Animal Kingdom Attractions
Last year Disney announced big changes for DinoLand U.S.A. in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. And now plans for the land are no longer a secret either!
Disney is reimagining the land as a new space, themed around Tropical Americas! We can’t wait to see Welcome to Pueblo Esperanza!
One new attraction you can expect to see is a carousel filled with all of your favorite animals from Disney stories. Families will love selecting a character to take a spin on.
Indiana Jones
We expected to see Indiana Jones take over DINOSAUR. But, it looks like we are going to get MORE than a clone attraction.
According to Disney, a new Indy experience is set to arrive in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. It promises to be different from any other Indiana Jones experience around the world.
In this new adventure, Indiana Jones has discovered a perfectly preserved Maya temple, and he is bringing us along to explore!
Encanto
We are so excited that Disney has officially announced the first-ever ride-through Encanto attraction is heading to Walt Disney World!
An Encanto ride is on the way to Animal Kingdom!
This ride will take us inside the Casita where Antonio has just received his special gift! His room has transformed into a rainforest, and you get to explore it with him!
When Does it Open?
All of the construction begins this fall. And the land is set to open in 2027!
And don’t forget that so much NEW is in store for Disney Parks. Check out the new Coco attraction here and Avatar updates here. Plus, Magic Kingdom will have a new nighttime show!
Are you thrilled to see Encanto, Indiana Jones, and a character carousel come to Animal Kingdom? Let us know. And be sure to share the news with your friends!
