Coco Themed Attraction
Guests have asked for a Coco attraction for quite some time. At times, it seems that these dreams are left unheard, but not this time.
During the “Horizons” showcase at the D23 Disney Parks panel, Josh D’Amaro shares that the first ever Coco attraction will be coming soon. The announcment started with Ernesto de la Cruz.
This first ever Coco attraction will be a boat ride and music will play a key role in this attraction. Of course, guests can enjoy the best animatronics to bring this story to life.
Full Details
The new Coco attraction will break ground in 2026 at Disney’s California Adventure. Guests can enjoy this immersive experience as the rich culture comes to life. You will join Miguel on a trip to the land of the dead.
“We’re bringing our skeletal cast of characters to life in a big way through the latest Audio-Animatronics technology,” Josh told the crowd. “These figures will appear in ways you’ll have to see to believe.”
We do not yet know where this attraction will be placed or a name for this attraction. We can only hope that perhaps a similar attraction can one day find a place at EPCOT.
This new attraction will help fulfill Walt Disney’s dream that the Disney Parks will never stop changing and growing.
