During the D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, it was announced that a new land inspired by Disney and Pixar’s “Monsters, Inc.” is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort.

The new land will allow guests to stroll alongside their favorite monsters in a lively and not-at-all-scary environment.

After the events of Pixar Animation Studios’ beloved film, humans have been invited to visit the world of Monsters, Inc.
The monsters need laughter to power the city and keep it running smoothly.
A visit wouldn’t be complete without seeing the factory itself. Visitors will be able to see the sights, hear the laughs, and even zoom through the building just like James P. Sullivan (a.k.a. Sulley) and Mike Wazowski—via a door!
Riding Through Door Corridor
If you ever dreamed of riding through the door vault since the movie Monsters, Inc. was released in 2001, you’re not alone. Josh felt the same way. His dream was to ride on one of those doors like Mike and Sulley. Now, in the new attraction, you’ll have this experience. As seen in the movie, the claws grab the doors and hoist them into the air to take them away.
Work on the project is scheduled to begin next year, so get ready fill up those laugh canisters!
You’ll get to experience this too, as the coaster takes you for a ride through the factory. The coaster puts you right in the middle of the monster action. Just remember to fill out your paperwork! Roz is always watching.
