Earlier this year, Test Track closed to undergo its second wave of reimagining. We love Test Track, but it was definitely getting to a place where it needed some love.

Walt Disney Imagineering is collaborating with Chevrolet to embark on this reimaging. The redesign seeks to celebrate today’s innovation while highlighting the past, present, and future. It includes both the queue and the ride itself.

According to Disney, the queue will feature six distinct exhibits. Each of the 6 rooms celebrates the vehicles and people in the next chapter of our motion journey.

The ride itself will have brand-new show scenes. These include scenes focused on onboard technology, customization, and personalization. Then, passengers will take an outdoor joyride to remind us of the joy of driving while spending quality time with loved ones.

If you have been to EPCOT lately, you know that construction has already begun! And it is well underway. The new exterior is a throwback to the original pavilion design.

Test Track will open in its new form sometime in 2025. We do not have exact dates, but we will keep you informed!
