A New Free Dining Deal at Universal Studios

Have you ever wished you could indulge in free dining at Universal Orlando? If so, you might find Universal’s new promotion appetizing.

Universal visitors often wonder whether Universal ever offers free dining. After all, free dining is one of Disney’s most popular promotions, so it is only natural that people would like to see it at other parks as well.

We have good news! Universal is currently offering a dining promotion that includes a FREE dining gift card of up to $1000 in value with select hotel and ticket packages.

Qualifying Guests can use the dining card (aka Food and Beverage card) across Universal Parks, hotels, and CityWalk. Here are details on how to get yours.

Qualifying Packages

The free dining card is valid for stays with a minimum of 4 nights in a qualifying Universal Orlando resort hotel with a minimum 4-day promo ticket. More specifically, it works with either 2-Park or 3-Park Park-to-Park vacation promo tickets for either 4 or 5 days.

The promotion is valid for stays 11/7/24-12/19/24 and for stays 1/5/25-4/10/25. The booking window is 08/15/24 – 02/12/25, and the offer is subject to availability.

The entitlement is for one gift card per room. Some room types are excluded from the promotion, and it cannot be combined with any other offer.

Here are the specific dining card values based on the hotel and length of stay you select:

• 5+ nights at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel, Loews Royal Pacific Resort: $1000
• 4 nights at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel, and Loews Royal Pacific Resort: $800
• 5+ nights at Sapphire Falls Resort or Cabana Bay Beach Resort $600
• 4 nights at Sapphire Falls Resort or Cabana Bay Beach Resort $500
• 5+ nights at Aventura Hotel, Stella Nova Resort, Terra Luna Resort $600
• 4 nights at Aventura Hotel, Stella Nova Resort, Terra Luna Resort $400
• 5+ nights at Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suite or Dockside Inn and Suites $400
• 4 nights at nights at Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suite or Dockside Inn and Suites $300

Ready to use your card? First, it MUST be picked up and activated at the Universal Vacation Planning Center at your hotel. And, it is important to note the exclusions before you use it.

Exclusions and Details

The Food and Beverage card canNOT be redeemed with Mobile Food and Beverage Orders (MFDO). Instead, please see a Team Member for assistance ordering with your dining card.

It excludes pizza delivery and room service. It also cannot be used at these restaurants:

• The Palm – Orlando at Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando Resort
• BiCE Ristorante Orlando at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando Resort
• Blondie’s at Universal Islands of Adventure

Additionally, it cannot be used for food purchases at retail locations that happen to sell food including, but not limited to:

• Bake My Day
• San Francisco Candy Factory
• Sugarplum’s Sweetshop
• Honeydukes
• Snookers and Snookers
• Island Market
• Export Candy Shoppe
• The Tribute Store

Is it worth it?

As it is with any promotion, the answer to “Is it worth it?” is: sometimes! It is best to compare every available promotion to calculate your maximum savings. If there are no other promotions available for your travel dates, it is absolutely worth it. However, you may get more mileage out of a different offer.

There are ways to leverage the offer. For instance, If you are planning a long trip (8 nights or more) you might want to maximize the benefit by enjoying a split stay at two different resorts with 4+ nights at each resort.
