If you plan to visit Disneyland Park soon, you may find some attractions closed for updates and maintenance. These closures can last a few days to several months due to mechanical issues or cosmetic updates.
Disneyland announces multi-closures on popular attractions, some will close more than once.
It’s important to know about these closures, especially if planning a holiday vacation.
Rides Closing
First, Disneyland announced that the pathway connecting New Orleans Square and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will reopen on August 19. In addition, Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoes will also reopen on this date.

Refurbishment dates have been announced for Disneyland’s pathway, Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoes, “it’s a small world” and Jungle Cruise attractions.
Multiple closures are scheduled for “It’s a Small World.” The ride will close on September 16 for the holiday overlay and is expected to reopen on November 15. After the holiday season, the ride will close again for several weeks for maintenance and is planned to reopen in spring 2025.
