New Reopening Date for Peter Pan’s Flight at Magic Kingdom

One of Magic Kingdom’s most popular attractions received a bit of pixie dust. Peter Pan’s Flight will now open earlier than expected to the delight of guests.

Peter Pan’s Flight delights guests both the young and the young at heart. This dark attraction can see wait times reaching 90 minutes throughout the day.

We first reported that a permit was filed for Peter Pan’s Flight back in May. Official word announced this attraction to close for refurbishment on July 8th.

Although no one likes refurbishments of our favorite attractions, it is needed from time to time. This was unfortunate for guests visiting the Magic Kingdom this summer, but Disney has a bit of magic for guests visiting the Magic Kingdom very soon.

New Reopening Date

The Peter Pan’s Flight refurbishment set a completion date of August 20, 2024 with a reopening date set for August 21, 2024.

According to the Walt Disney World calendar, the refurbishment work finished earlier than expected. This does not happen often, but when it does it is magical.

Peter Pan’s Flight offers attraction times on August 16, 2024. This is great news for guests visiting Magic Kingdom.

Any Changes?

Disney has not announced if any changes are coming to this attraction. As far as we are aware this is just a simple refurbishment.

It is interesting to note that the original permit was for installing set elements. We look forward to enjoying this attraction to see if any new set elements are revealed with this early reopening.
