When Universal Orlando’s new theme park Epic Universe opens, it will unveil at least 4 new roller coasters. Visitors can expect a chance to ride beginning sometime in 2025.

These include a family coaster in How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk, a monster-themed coaster, and a Donkey Kong coaster.

But, the first one guests will see as they enter Epic Universe will be none other than Stardust Racers.

Stardust Racers is an all-new racing coaster situated in Celestial Park, the hub of Epic Universe. It is meant to simulate a ride across the cosmos on a shooting star!

This dual-launch coaster will reach incredible speeds of up to 62 mph and climb to heights up to 133 feet along 5,000 feet of track. Riders will also race along an inverted crisscross, known as the “Celestial Spin” in a dazzling display of blazing colors and ethereal music.

Stardust Racers might just tap into a bit of nostalgia for fans of the former Dueling Dragons (Dragon Challenge) coaster that used to battle its way across Islands of Adventure. It will be the first time Universal has offered a coaster experience with two interplaying tracks since the demolition of the dragon-themed coaster.
