Walt Disney World is a special place for so many and no one thinks that an emergency could happen at “The Most Magical Place on Earth.” Unfortunately, emergency situations do still happen and the Disney Parks try to handle each emergency as respectfully as possible.

Today the Emergency Services call log for Orange County, FL registers a call received at 1:11 pm (ET). This is described as “man down.”

This description can refer to a variety of scenarios including the most extreme case of death, but can also include injured, incapacitated, or unable to respond on their own.

The call log identifies 4400 to 5599 Caribbean Way as the site of this incident. This is backstage at Magic Kingdom leading from Tiana’s Bayou Adventure all of the way near the Emporium on Main Street.

This road is often used as the parade route exits on Main Street currently for both the Festival of Fantasy Parade and also Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade.

At this time it is unclear if this incident involved a Cast Member or if emergency services used this backstage address to easily respond to a Guest. From the call log it appears that emergency responders arrived at 1:21 pm and the incident closed at 1:32 pm.

Thankfully, Disney responded that this incident did not result in death. We are thankful for the fire department for responding quickly to this medical incident.
