Enjoy This Stage Show at Disney World a Little Longer

Live entertainment is one of the most magical parts about Disney World. There are so many options in all four theme parks. Now, you’ll be able to enjoy one of them even longer than originally anticipated.

Along with characters, restaurants, and attractions Disney World does a fantastic job with its stage shows. There are several in each theme park, ranging from 30 minute Broadway-style shows to 5 minute street performances.

Stage shows are a nice break from the rides and outdoor elements, as many offer air conditioning and a place to sit!

Epcot, in particular, has many because of the World Showcase. In almost every pavilion you will find some type of live entertainment.

Encanto Show

This summer, Disney debuted a new show at Epcot to celebrate the full opening of World Celebration and the completion of the park overhaul. “¡Celebración Encanto!” features the beloved songs and story from “Encanto”.

You and your family can sing along with some of your favorite songs! And, if you’re lucky like I (Monica) was you may be invited up to the stage to participate!

The best part of the show is the end when Mirabel and Bruno come out and get the crowd involved in a giant dance party. It is one of the few chances you have to meet them together (the other being Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party).

Extended

Originally, the show was scheduled to end on September 6, 2024. However, it has now been extended! Disney has not shared a new timeline other than it will continue into 2025.

This will give even more Guests the opportunity to check out this show. But hopefully Disney will also prepare some new entertainment for this special area of the park.
