Disney Cruise Line Just Canceled Two Cruises

Guests hoping to join Mickey Mouse and his pals on the high seas are waking up to some pretty disappointing news. Disney Cruise Line just canceled 2 sailings. Do you think their “goodwill gesture” is enough for these guests?

Many debate between a Disney Parks vacation and a Disney Cruise vacation. If current projects are any indication, it appears that the Disney Cruise industry is in high demand.

Disney has plans for 13 cruise ships in total in its fleet by 2031! You can check on the designs and new offerings for this growing fleet HERE.

Disney Cruise Line offers unbeatable entertainment and fun onboard activities. This is one of the main reasons why my (Donna) family loves a Disney Cruise vacation.

Sometimes the hardest decision is to decide when and where you would like to cruise. Disney just notified guests of two canceled sailings for the Disney Dream for November 8, 2025, and November 13, 2025.

The November 8, 2025 sailing is a 5-night Western Caribbean Cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Castaway Cay and Cozumel.

Also affected is the November 13, 2025 sailing which is a 4-night Bahamian cruise from Fort Lauderdale. This cruise was set to visit Nassau and Disney’s newest private island, Lighthouse Point. “Operational needs” affect both canceled sailings.

Thankfully, guests still have roughly 15 months to adjust their travel plans. Guests will receive a full refund to their original form of payment and also a “goodwill gesture” offer of 20% off a future sailing that departs before September 3, 2026.

Guests of these canceled sailings will receive more information via email from Disney Cruise Line regarding these cancelations.
