New Disney World Dining Location Just Opened

We have been waiting for over a year, and finally Disney surprised us with a soft opening with no warning. Check out all the details here.

Disney’s Boardwalk

If you have never visited Disney’s Boardwalk, you are missing a true treasure. Disney’s Boardwalk evokes turn-of-the-century boardwalks in coastal cities such as Coney Island and Atlantic City. Disney’s Boardwalk is home to resorts, fun entertainment, and plenty of dining choices as well.

Many Walt Disney World guests feel as though they miss out on special dining offered at Disneyland. Back in July 2023, Disney announced that a Disneyland favorite, Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs, would finally debut on the East Coast.

This new location will reside in the former Boardwalk To Go stand. While promised to open “Later this year (2023)”, many guests wondered when an opening date would be announced.

Soft Opening

Today there was a stir along Disney’s Boardwalk as guests began to gather near the Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs stand. Guests reported that the fryers were running and there was a sense of excitement in the air.

Disney shared a first look at the new menu options. Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs will bring the guest-favorite Pickle Dog to the East Coast. They will also bring a few new options to Disney’s Boardwalk.

The new Mexican Street Corn Dog looks like a “must try.” They will also offer both Lemonade and Strawberry Lemonade.  To fit with the fun Boardwalk vibe, guests can also enjoy Fresh Spun cotton candy.

What you need to know

If the corn dog craze of the West Coast is any indicator, this will be a very popular spot. Each corn dog is made to order so pack your patience as you may be waiting a little while for your food.

Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs had a soft opening this morning at Disney’s Boardwalk.
