Do you break out into cold sweats just thinking about joining Virtual Queues at Walt Disney World? We have big news for the TRON Virtual Queue that you do not want to miss.
TRON Virtual Queue
TRON is an incredibly popular attraction at the Magic Kingdom that officially opened on April 4, 2023. Currently, you must join a virtual queue or pay to ride on a typical park day.
There are a few exceptions when TRON offers a standby queue such as for After Hours Events and for special ticketed party night such as Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party.
When Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opened this summer, both TRON and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure offered a Virtual Queue, but this is about to change.
Changes
If you loathe Disney Parks Virtual Queues, we have great news for you. TRON Lightcycle Run will offer a traditional standby queue starting September 9, 2024. That is next Monday!
The final Virtual Queue for TRON will be offered on Sunday, September 8, 2024. The attraction will still offer the paid Single Lightning Pass for this attraction.
Those guests who enjoy the Virtual Queue may be disappointed with this news. It will be interesting to see what the wait times may look like for TRON starting next week with the standby queue.
Early Entry
At this time TRON is not listed as an attraction available for Early Entry for Walt Disney World Resort guests although other Tomorrowland attractions are available for this added perk.
TRON changes from a Virtual Queue on Monday, September 9, 2024.
We hope TRON may be added to the Early Entry lineup, but for now, the best chance for reduced wait may be to get in line when the park officially opens for all guests.
What do you think of this change? Do you think lines will be crazy or is this attraction overrated? Share your thoughts with us and share this news with your Disney pals.
