Need to Know Information for Disney Movie Insiders Closing

Disney Movie Insiders has announced that it will be closing in the upcoming months. Find out what you need to know with this closure including some important dates that members will need to know.

The Disney Movie Insiders Club is a loyalty program. This program rewards fans of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars movies.

Members can earn points in a variety of ways. You can earn points that can be redeemed for exclusive rewards by purchasing eligible movie tickets, eligible movies on Blu-Ray, UHD, or DVD, and eligible Disney digital movies.

Rewards include exclusive collectibles, Disney gift cards, activities, and more. Unfortunately, this loyalty program will be ending soon.

Disney Movie Insiders Closing

Disney Movie Insiders is closing. They announced, “The Disney Movie Insider will sunset on December 4, 2024.”

Members will need to redeem all their points before this closing. Disney Movie Insiders shared that they will continue to add more rewards to the rewards catalog. At this point, all rewards redemptions are final.

Important Dates

With this closure, there are some very important dates that members need to know. September 6th was the last day members can earn points.

September 6th was the last day to earn points. December 3rd will be the last day for members to redeem their points.

December 3rd is the last day that members can redeem points. December 4th the Program and accounts will all close. December 17th will be the final for Member Services. Be sure to check out the image below for a quick and easy reference of these important dates.

It is also important to note that if you have redeemed your points for Disney Gift Cards through this program, you must claim the gift cards codes by December 17, 2024. If you do not activate the gift cards before this date, it will result in expiration and forfeiture. Disney Insiders also stated that there will be no refunds, exchanges, extensions, or replacements for lost, damaged, or inactivated gift cards.
