If you are a fan of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT, you do not want to miss out on this exciting experience coming for one day only! We have been asking for this for years!
Cosmic Rewind
How popular is Cosmic Rewind? It appears it is still quite popular because it still utilizes a virtual queue. The attraction first welcomed guests in 2022, and for over 2 years it still does not offer a traditional standby queue.
Some guests return to this attraction for the great thrills of rotating 360 degrees throughout the attraction. And, other guests love the overall theming of the Guardians of the Galaxy crew.
Still, other guests have a goal to enjoy all 6 songs featured for this attraction. It took some time for me (Donna) to finally experience all 6 songs.
Exciting Experience
Guests often ask Cast Members if they can request a particular song for Cosmic Rewind. Cast Members are unable to accommodate these requests as the songs shuffle randomly.
For years, Disney fans have mentioned that “September” should be played on repeat for one special date, September 21. Seriously how cool would that be to hear “Do you remember the 21st night of September?” on September 21?!
Finally, Disney confirms that “September” will play on repeat on Saturday, September 21, 2024. This is my (Donna) favorite song for this attraction, and I wish I was currently booking a plane ticket for this special day.
What you need to know
As a reminder, Disney just changed made a few changes to the pre-show for this attraction due to guests’ negative behavior. Be sure to check this out HERE.
Enjoy “September” on repeat all day September 21st.
Our suggestion would be to purchase the Lightning Lane Singe Pass for this attraction early and be prepared to join the Virtual Queue as this will be a popular day for this attraction.
