Do you love Pixar’s Coco? You will not want to miss the new Coco experience coming to EPCOT!
Coco in the Parks
Housed in the EPCOT’s Mexico pavilion, guests at Walt Disney World can enjoy the Mexico Folk Art Gallery featuring fun characters from Coco. Miguel and Dante were also featured as topiaries in the Mexico pavilion during EPCOT’s International Flower and Garden Festival.
Magic Kingdom guests can spot Miguel leading the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade. Still, the overall Coco experience is lacking at Walt Disney World.
This is especially true when other Disney Parks have such great Coco experiences. Disneyland Paris guests enjoy Restaurante de Familia, a Coco-themed dining location, and Disneyland’s California Adventure will soon have the first-ever Coco attraction.
New Coco Experience
For a limited time, EPCOT guests can enjoy a new Coco experience. Located in the Mexico pavilion, the Mariachi Cobre delights guests throughout the day.
Starting today, September 15th through October 15, 2024, the famous traditional folk musicians Mariachi Cobre celebrate “Together We Are Magia!”. This will include a special appearance by Miguel from Coco.
This special experience is in honor of Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month. This will undoubtedly be a great experience to enjoy even if it is just for a limited time.
Could Walt Disney World offer more?
This is a great experience, but many still feel as though Walt Disney World could offer more Coco experiences throughout the 4 Theme Parks.
Miguel makes special appearances with the Mariachi Cobre starting September 15-October 15, 2024.
Many Disney fans hope that one day the Gran Fiesta Tour starring the Three Caballeros may one day transform into a Coco attraction. Even a Miguel meet and greet would be a great addition to Walt Disney World.
