Have you ever had a chance to see a sonogram of a baby tiger? You are in for a treat if you love following along with the most magical animals on earth!
Disney Baby Animals
In a world where negativity can run rampant, happy news is a breath of fresh air. One of the most welcome types of news is a Disney animal baby announcement. Disney welcomes hundreds of little lives each year. Recent birth stories include Cora the baby elephant and a quartette of baby zebras!
Disney’s conservation efforts have brought numerous baby animals from an array of endangered and threatened species into the world. These births are part of an initiative called the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) Species Survival Plan.
And now the magic is happening again. Disney is preparing for the arrival of an adorable bundle of stripes! We have the story and a video for you.
Baby Tiger Alert
If you have ever enjoyed Maharajah Jungle Trek at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you may have been lucky enough to encounter Walt Disney World’s own Sumatran tigers! These magnificent and rare animals represent the smallest subspecies of tigers in the world. In the wild, they are found only on the Indonesian island of Sumatra.
Walt Disney World is home to a pair of these beautiful tigers. In 2022, Conrad, a male Sumatran tiger came to live in the park. You can see his story HERE
You might remember when Disney’s very first Sumatran tiger cubs were born back in 2017. Now, Disney has announced that tiger mom Sohni is expecting!
Tiger Sonogram
Dr. Mark Penning shared a video of Sohni’s sonogram. Isn’t it exciting to see a little cub kicking about?
The team at Dinsey World is carefully monitoring this tiger pregnancy.
Congratulations to Sohni, Conrad, and the team of animal care experts who are watching over them. We are so excited to have the promise of little stripes in the parks again.
Are you excited about Disney’s new bundle of stripes? Be sure to pass the story along to the animal lovers in your life so they can enjoy the happy news, too.
