This is the second time this year we have seen triplets born in Walt Disney World. Here are all the details surrounding these adorable magical babies.
Triplet Alert
We have some fun news for you today. For the second time in 2024, we have a set of triplets born in Disney’s Animal Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort!
You might remember in January of 2024 when we announced the first wave of Disney triplets. You can read the story HERE.
And now it looks like history has repeated itself! Friday the 13th brought with it the birth of another set of triplets.
Cotton Top Babies
This rare set of triplets was born to cotton-top tamarins Hermy and Draco. Not only was this the second set of triplets, but a set of twin cotton-top tamarins was born in 2023, for a grand total of new 8 babies in a year. This is GREAT news for the species.
Cotton-top tamarins are considered a rare species with less than 7,500 remaining in the wild. Their numbers are so low that they are, unfortunately, considered critically endangered. Deforestation and habitat loss as well as the illegal pet trade have both contributed to the fate of this species.
Meet the Triplets
You can meet the triplets on your next visit to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Check them out along with the other cotton-top tamarins at Discovery Island. They are so much fun to watch, especially when they are little and clinging to their parents.

Disney’s conservation efforts have brought numerous baby animals into the world from an array of endangered and threatened species. These births are part of an initiative called the Association of Zoos and Aquariums’ (AZA) Species Survival Plan. In fact, you can also expect to see one (or more) baby tigers very soon too!
Do you hope to catch a glimpse of these adorable baby cotton-top tamarins in Disney’s Animal Kingdom? Let us know. And be sure to pass the news along to family and friends so that they can enjoy the babies on their next visit to Walt Disney World.
