Exciting news: The Single Rider line for Rise of the Resistance is now open to guests. Find out where to enter and learn how the pre-show experience is affected for Single Rider guests.
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
There are two ways to experience this attraction. The first option is to wait in the standby line. Your best chance of riding in less than an hour is to ride during Early Entry or get in line right before closing.
The Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance attraction remains a favorite among fans, often having long wait times to ride it.
The second option is to pay for expedited access. You can bypass the standby line by purchasing the Individual Lightning Lane option and ride with a confirmed return time. These Individual Lightning Lane slots usually sell out quickly.
And now, there’s a third option…
Single Rider Lane
In July, Disney began testing the Single Rider lane for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. However, that testing stopped at the end of July with no word of it returning.
And we’re thrilled to announce, that starting yesterday, September 20, this attraction is testing the Single Rider line!
Single Rider lines are separate queues for solo travelers or those willing to ride alone. Single riders are seated wherever there’s an available spot.
What Does This Mean to You?
Remember, the Single Rider entrance is located at the attraction exit. Keep an eye out for Cast Members holding a sign that says “Rise of the Resistance Single Rider End of Line.”
Note that using the Single Rider lane will save you time, but you probably won’t be seated with people you know, and you’ll miss part of the preshow.
Keep in mind that by using the Single Rider entrance, you will miss the pre-show featuring Rey and the experience of boarding the Intersystem Transport Ship.
Will you use the Single Rider lane or do you prefer to wait and experience the pre-show? Let us know in the comments and share this post to continue the conversation.
