Walt Disney World hours change at times, but typically EPCOT hours remain the same. Now EPCOT will extend Theme Park hours. You don’t want to miss these extended hours.
Theme Park Hours
Our Kenny the Pirate writing team updates you with the latest news on Disney’s theme parks. The park hours initially provided by Disney can help you prepare for your visit, but they often change as the dates get closer.
And if you’re staying at a Disney Resort, take advantage of the extra 30 minutes each morning to enter the parks with the early entry benefit. Take a look at previously extended hours announced HERE.
We often see extended hours at Magic Kingdom and occasionally at Disney Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Extended Park Hours
The holiday season is truly magical at EPCOT. Festival of the Holidays will begin November 29th through December 30th. The start of this festival will also bring rare, extended hours for EPCOT.
On November 29th, EPCOT opens at 8:30 a.m. for Early Entry and opens at 9:00 a.m. for all guests.
For the start of the Festival of the Holidays, EPCOT closes at 9:30 p.m. rather than the typical 9:00 p.m.
Plan Ahead
This additional thirty minutes will allow guests more opportunities to enjoy the many great offerings of this festival. We look forward to more hours being released over the upcoming weeks for this festival.
EPCOT hours are extended for the International Festival of the Holidays.
The festival star is the Storytellers who share their customs and traditions around the World Showcase. Be sure to plan for each storyteller because they only perform at set times during the day. You will not find any storytellers once the sun goes down.
What do you think of these longer hours? Do you wish the parks stayed open even later? Will you attend EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays this year? Share your thoughts with us and share this news with your Disney pals.
