It appears that Walt Disney World may be having a case of the “Mondays” with several issues affecting guests. Find out the current issues.

Many guests wish to put away their mobile devices while on vacation. Unfortunately, it is hard to visit Walt Disney World without using Disney’s app. After all, it has everything you need to enjoy a magical vacation!

You can make dining reservations, place mobile orders, skip the merchandise line with mobile checkout, and even book your next attraction Lightning Lane time.

The real problem arises when the My Disney Experience app which is your lifeline to all of the fun and magic of the Disney Parks suffers technical difficulties.

Payment Notifications

Today when logging into the My Disney Experience app, a pop-up notification warns guests that some of their current payment options are unavailable.

Guests are notified that “currently only Paypal is available at this time in select flows.”

Disney shares, “We’re actively working to resolve this issue. We apologize for any inconvenience.” This will affect many guests as Disney Parks encourages the use of cashless payment options.

Other Technical Issues

The technical woes do not end with the payment issues. It also appears that Multi-Pass Lightning Lane selections and Single-Pass Lightning Lane purchases are also affected.

I (Donna) could make a selection for a Single-Pass Lightning Lane for Flight of Passage, but could not advance to the final screen to actually make the purchase. We hope these many technical issues will soon be corrected for guests visiting Walt Disney World today.
