A Popular Character Returns to Epcot

Welcome this popular character back to Epcot and get all the details on this awesome meet and greet!

Epcot Meet and Greets

Epcot is home to many meet and greets, including characters in the World Showcase, Imagination Pavilion, and World Celebration. We are loving the new space for Mickey and his Pals in World Celebration.

However, one area that does not have a lot of meet and greet action is World Discovery, the area that houses attractions like Test Track and Cosmic Rewind.

But, that is all about to change! We can meet Star-Lord soon!

Star-Lord

Star-Lord has meet sporadically in the last few years, with appearances at DVC Moonlight Magic and runDisney races. Back in 2018 and 2019 he was even part of a show in the American Gardens Theater.

However, he has not met regularly or been a consistent part of Epcot since then which is a real shame because Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind has become a huge part of Epcot since it opened in 2022!

Guests will soon get to meet and interact with Star-Lord, get his autograph, and maybe dance with him to some cool tunes!

When and Where

Star-Lord will return to Epcot on September 29! Unfortunately, we do not know his meeting location or schedule yet. Given that September 29 is less than one week away, the information will likely be provided on the My Disney Experience app starting that day.

We are unsure if this will be a permanent meet and greet, but we sure hope it is! Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is wildly popular, and this would really amp up excitement even more.
