There are many things to consider when planning your Walt Disney World vacation. Take our tip and plan to visit another Disney Park on this date.
Park Hours
You are planning a trip to Walt Disney World! You have your resort room booked and transportation planned, and the next big decision is which parks to visit.
Park hours are a great way to plan which park you would like to plan for each day. Walt Disney World posts standard park hours in advance, often extending these park hours.
This is great news when planning your trip to enjoy an earlier entry and a later park closing. Typically park hours remain somewhat constant, especially at EPCOT, but one date is now affected this fall.
Late Opening
Typically, EPCOT opens at 9:00 am every day while offering early entry at 8:30 am for Walt Disney World Resort guests. It normally closes at 9:00 pm nightly.
On Sunday, November 3, 2024, EPCOT will open an hour later than normal. This will be 9:30 am for Walt Disney World Resort guests and 10:00 am for all other guests.
The park will still close at 9:00 pm this day for ticketed guests. So why the late opening? Our best guess is that this may be a conflict with the Wine & Dine half marathon starting earlier on this particular morning.
Best Tips
Along with having a later opening, EPCOT may be more crowded with half marathon finishers entering the park to celebrate their accomplishment. Also on this night, EPCOT will host a Post-Race Party with a 10:00 pm start time.
You will want to avoid EPCOT on Sunday, November 3, 2024. The park will open later and open for event guests at 5:00 pm.
Guests with Post-Race Party tickets can enter the park at 5:00 pm for this event. In short, EPCOT will open later and may be crowded when it does open and you may see a large surge of party guests entering the park at 5:00 pm.
