Our Christmas wish came early this year with new holiday entertainment coming to Walt Disney World. You do not want to miss out on the fun shows and new character locations.
Disney World for the Holidays
Walt Disney World is always a magical place, but it seems even more magical at the holidays. From seeing Santa to favorite characters dressed for the holidays, and exciting entertainment, there are so many reasons to love Walt Disney World at Christmas.
Earlier we shared changes coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios special event, Jollywood Nights along with new details for the Festival of the Holidays at EPCOT and the confirmed returning favorites that guests love.
Many traditions and decorations stay the same at Walt Disney World, but this year they are changing things up a bit.
New Entertainment
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is stepping up its festive game this holiday season. The first new show allows guests to “Marvel at the skills of Juggling Elves – these holiday helpers deliver festive cheer with a side of shenanigans as they show off their skills of juggling, comedy, and more!”
Enjoy the festive stylings of “the jaunty jolly tunes of the Holiday Spirit Band. This dynamic brass group will make everyone in your party want to join in the fun and stroll into Santa’s good graces.”
“And pick up your feet and march along with Seasons Jukebox as they bring all the performance and pep of a collegiate marching band. Hard-hitting horns, rocking drummers, and dazzling dancers will bring to life everyone’s favorite holiday classics and more.”
All 3 new entertainment offerings begin on November 12th. Be sure to check the My Disney Experience and Character Locator for showtimes and locations.
Animal Kingdom
Since 2020, Disney’s Animal Kingdom guests could only spot Santa Claus as he sailed along the waterways for a holiday cavalcade. This year, you can meet Santa at the 75th Annual Dino Institute Holiday Party on the patio at Restaurantosaurus.
All new holiday offerings begin on November 12, 2024 at both Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios.
While at Disney’s Animal Kingdom be sure to see Mickey and Minnie Mouse at Adventurers Outpost in their festive gear. The full animal Merry Menagerie will also return to delight guests at Animal Kingdom. This is my (Donna) favorite holiday offering at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Which new offering are you most excited about? Do you plan to visit either Disney’s Hollywood Studios and/or Disney’s Animal Kingdom this Christmas season?
