One Disney Railroad has been closed for several months. We now have a projected opening date for this favorite Disney Railroad!
Construction
Occasionally, our favorite attractions, restaurants, shops, and even sections of hotels are closed for a minor or sometimes major refurbishment or even construction for another attraction to be built. These closures can sometimes greatly affect your vacation.
These closures are necessary to keep the hotels, attractions, shops, and other experiences running at their best for each Guest’s experience.
Disneyland Railroad
Walt Disney, a noted train enthusiast, built his very first railroad in his backyard. This love of trains resulted in railroads existing at every Disney Park around the globe.
At Disneyland, Guests can take an 18-minute ride aboard an authentic steam-powered train. This is always a great way to get around Disneyland. Trains come about every 5 to 10 minutes and travel clockwise around the park.
The Disneyland Railroad has been temporarily closed since August 5th.
There are 4 stations around the park: Main Street, U.S.A., New Orleans Square, Mickey’s Toontown, and Tomorrowland.
Since August 5th the Disneyland Railroad has been temporarily closed. However, we now have a projected reopening date.
Disneyland Railroad Reopening Date
We are excited to share that the Disneyland Railroad is on track to reopen soon! It is slated to reopen on Friday, October 25th.
The Disneyland Railroad will resume on Friday, October 25th. There will be no boarding/deboarding at the New Orleans Square station.
The trains will resume, however, boarding/deboarding at the New Orleans Square station will continue to be paused. This is due to construction in this area of the park.
Are you excited to see the Disneyland Railroad reopen? Are you happy they are still reopening the railroad even though the New Orleans station will be closed? Let us know in the comments below and be sure to share this post with your friends.
