Unfortunately, the price increases continue to roll in for Walt Disney World guests. Now, parking will see an increase for the second time this year.
October Price Increases
Overnight, Disney dropped several surprising new price increases. Guests can expect to pay more for many aspects of their Walt Disney World vacations starting today.
Although we all understand that the prices at the grocery store continue to climb, it is overwhelming when so many price increases are announced in a single day.
While price increases can happen at any time of the year, Disney usually saves the bulk of the increases for October. Today, we have seen increases on character meals, dining experiences, tickets, and more.
Parking Price Increases
Resort overnight parking is free for all Guests staying at that hotel. Standard theme park parking is also free for Guests of Disney World hotels and Annual Passholders.
The new price increase affects guests using valet parking. This service is available at Disney Deluxe Resorts, Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, and Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.
Yesterday the price for valet parking was $39 (plus tax). Overnight this price is now $42 (plus tax) for guests.
Twice in One Year
As mentioned before this is not the first time this year that the pricing for valet parking has increased. Back in February, the price jumped to $39 from the previous $33.
Disney raised the price of valet parking twice this year increasing the price $9.
The price for valet parking increased by $9 in just one year. Although this is a special service, this is a big price increase for guests staying at select resorts.
