New Menu Changes for Sci-Fi and Mama Melrose’s

If you are heading to Hollywood Studios any time soon, you might be planning to have a meal while you are there. You will want to know about these menu changes so you can make the right reservations for your party.

New Menu Items are On the Way

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is not known for having a large pool of amazing dining options. There are a few gems here and there, but it isn’t like EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, or Disney Springs, where the hardest part is deciding what NOT to eat.

Hopefully, those options are about to get better! Two Hollywood Studios restaurants are getting menu updates!

Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre Restaurant and Mama Melrose‘s will both have new options for you to try. Here is what you have in store. It all starts today, October 23!

Mama Melrose’s

Mama Melrose’s was once delightful, but the quality has become spotty over time. You can read a review where the food ranged from okay to inedible right here. Menu updates are a welcome change, and hopefully, it will be worth it to give it another try!

The menu will board several new options! From beef to seafood to plant-based choices, there is something for everyone.

• Mama’s Pasta with Shrimp: Three-cheese sauce, sauteed kale, cavatappi, roasted butternut squash, and wild mushroom
• Tuscan White Bean Purée: Roasted garlic and eggplant, fresh herbs, and chili oil (plant-based)
• Braised Waygu Beef on Orecchiette: Red wine-braised waygu beef, dried cherries, and pink peppercorn

Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant

Sci-Fi Dine-in Theater Restaurant is a place with a really cool ambiance. You can dine in a cool, quiet drive-in where you enjoy campy horror movie clips and cartoons. You might even get to eat in a car.

The menu is getting an upgrade here, too!

Some people find that while the atmosphere is cool, the food could use a bit of a kick. The menu update brings a duo of new sandwiches that might be just the thing diners are looking for to enhance to experience.

• Beamed-Up Burger with Fries: Two-pressed signature-blend patties, American cheese, shredded lettuce, jalapeño-bourbon-bacon jam, and house-made burger sauce on a brioche bun
• Prime Rib Sandwich: Toasted hoagie roll filled with shaved prime rib, provolone cheese, house-made gardienare, arugula, and a side of au jus
