After the dust settled with the new pricing of the Lightning Lane passes, Disney released news of a new Lightning Lane Premier Pass. Here is the worst part of this entire system: the cost. Pricing is dynamic at Disney World, meaning it fluctuates based on time of year and park. Pricing varies by Park and the initial pricing ranges as follows: Animal Kingdom: $129-199, EPCOT: $169-249, Hollywood Studios: $269-349 , and Magic Kingdom: $329-449.

Keep in mind that pricing is per person per day, and you can only use it at one theme park per day at Disney World.

Today, October 30th, is the first day Lightning Lane Premier Pass is available for purchase. For the initial launch, Disney kept pricing at the low end (if you can say low end with these prices) with Magic Kingdom at $329, EPCOT at $169, Disney’s Hollywood Studios at $269, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom at $129.

I think this is aimed at the wealthy. I could never justify spending that kind of money IN ADDITION to what I pay when I go to Disney, and I’m not cheap! It’s hard to believe we got this free, or to be more precise, included in our ticket fees, just a few years ago, as well as several other things that have been taken away. I know Disney is a business but WOW. What next???

This product is designed to appeal to only a handful of guests You also have to be staying in a deluxe resort at WDW to purchase this pass. No one in their right mind who visits WDW on a frequent basis would even consider purchasing this pass. These prices don't bother me. This pass won't impact me at all.
