Take a firm hold on your wallets because Walt Disney World just released the initial pricing for the newest Lightning Lane Premier Pass. With variable pricing, see what the first few weeks look like for this new pass.
New Premier Pass
Just when you thought that planning a Walt Disney World vacation was confusing enough, Disney throws another line-skipping pass into the mix. This summer the former Disney Genie+ was replaced with Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass. Check out an honest review of this pass HERE.
After the dust settled with the new pricing of the Lightning Lane passes, Disney released news of a new Lightning Lane Premier Pass. Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be offered in very limited quantities and will give guests one-time entry to each available Lightning Lane entrance in the theme park they are visiting that day.
The Lightning Lane Premier Pass will only be available to guests staying at Disney Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resorts and may be purchased up to seven days in advance of their stay. Find out all that you need to know about this new pass HERE.
Pricing Revealed
Here is the worst part of this entire system: the cost. Pricing is dynamic at Disney World, meaning it fluctuates based on time of year and park. Pricing varies by Park and the initial pricing ranges as follows: Animal Kingdom: $129-199, EPCOT: $169-249, Hollywood Studios: $269-349 , and Magic Kingdom: $329-449.
Keep in mind that pricing is per person per day, and you can only use it at one theme park per day at Disney World.
Today, October 30th, is the first day Lightning Lane Premier Pass is available for purchase. For the initial launch, Disney kept pricing at the low end (if you can say low end with these prices) with Magic Kingdom at $329, EPCOT at $169, Disney’s Hollywood Studios at $269, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom at $129.
Pricing Increase
As mentioned before, pricing is based on park attendance and demand. Looking ahead for the next 21 days shows what we can expect as holiday crowds descend upon Walt Disney World.
Pricing is now revealed for the Lightning Lane Premier Pass through November 21, 2024.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios shows 4 dates at the lowest $269 pricing, 7 days at $289, 9 dates at $309, and 2 dates at the high price of $329. EPCOT’s highest price for the next twenty-one days is $229 for 4 dates, 7 dates for $209, 6 dates at $189, and 5 dates at $169.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom offers 8 dates at the lowest price point of $129, 5 dates at $139, and 9 dates at $159. Finally, Magic Kingdom offers only 2 dates at the lowest $329 price point. The price jumps to $359 for 6 dates, $379 for 12 dates, and a staggering $399 for 2 dates.

I think this is aimed at the wealthy. I could never justify spending that kind of money IN ADDITION to what I pay when I go to Disney, and I’m not cheap! It’s hard to believe we got this free, or to be more precise, included in our ticket fees, just a few years ago, as well as several other things that have been taken away. I know Disney is a business but WOW. What next???

This product is designed to appeal to only a handful of guests You also have to be staying in a deluxe resort at WDW to purchase this pass. No one in their right mind who visits WDW on a frequent basis would even consider purchasing this pass. These prices don't bother me. This pass won't impact me at all.
