If you have ever enjoyed the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotel, or if you have plans to, you need to know about the big changes that are about to hit the hotel. Here are all the details.
Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin
While the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin is not technically Disney-owned, the hotels at the complex are official Disney Hotels. Guests receive many of the same great benefits of being “on property” including extended hours for deluxe hotels, 30 minutes of early entry to theme parks in the mornings, and transportation to theme parks.
Best of all, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin has a great location. It is within walking distance of EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Guests could also utilize water taxi transportation or the Disney Skyliner.
It is a popular choice for Guests. And, it might become even more popular because things are about to change thanks to a $275 million update!
Expansion
The first major change is a massive expansion! The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin will be adding 120,000 square feet of event space to the property. The design is said to be in keeping with the original resort design for cohesiveness.
This will mean there will be over 469,000 square feet of event space at the resort. This will include a 2-story annex for convention space.
Not only will there be plenty of event space for groups wishing to use the hotel for meetings and conventions, but there will also be other great updates as well. All existing meeting space at the Swan is set to be modernized.
New Room Updates
Next, there are updates happening at the Swan. Every guest room in the hotel will receive updates. Updates include luxury tile flooring. The overall look of these rooms will be very clean and modern.
All rooms at the Swan will be updated.
