Love it or hate it, one thing is for certain. Kingda Ka is an iconic roller coaster. Kingda Ka has been open for nearly 20 years. In its time, it has thrilled over 12 million riders.

The coaster located in Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey was once the World’s fastest and tallest roller coaster, and the height record still stands. It launched riders to speeds of up to 128 miles per hour and climbed to a peak height of 456 feet.

Recently, the internet has been swirling with rumors that Kingda Ka’s reign is coming to an end. Countless coaster enthusiasts and influencers flocked to Six Flags Great Adventure to catch one last ride on the giant coaster before the park closed for the season because they were certain that it’s final days were coming. But some held out hope that Kingda Ka wasn’t going anywhere.
