Single-rider lines are offered at several popular Disney Parks attractions. We now see positive signs that a new single-rider line may begin testing soon at EPCOT.
Single Rider Lines
Single rider lines are separate lines in select attractions for those traveling solo or not mind riding the attraction with the rest of their party. Basically, single riders get squeezed in wherever there is a seat available. Typically, the line is much shorter than the regular standby queue, which means less waiting around in line!
Attractions at Disney World that utilize single-rider access include Expedition Everest, Test Track (currently closed), Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster, and Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run. Occasionally Soarin’ offers a single rider line with higher crowds.
Star Wars Rise of the Resistance occasionally offers a single-rider line. When testing first began the experience was compromised, see the new and improved change for this queue HERE.
New Changes for Single Rider
Over at EPCOT, new changes indicate that a single-rider line may be coming to Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. This popular attraction located in the France Pavilion, has high wait times throughout the day.
Since Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure first opened in 2021, guests have noticed a single-rider sign located at this attraction. Unfortunately, it was never used.
Now new numbers are located on the adorable rat vehicles. These numbers appear to correspond with the numbers that guests wait on in the ride queue. At this time, Cast Members are not using these numbers, but a single-rider testing could be coming soon.
What this could mean
Utilizing these new numbers on ride vehicles would make it easy for Cast Members to use every available seat on this popular attraction. Since there are three seats available on the front and also three seats available on the back row, this change could help use all available seats.
New numbers added to Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure may indicate a single-rider line will be in use soon.
At this time guests can purchase Lightning Lane Multi-Pass or wait in the long standby queue. Unfortunately, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure fills up quickly for the Multi-Pass and now with the new tier system, booking this attraction limits your ability to enjoy more popular attractions.
If a new single rider were added to Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, this would be a great advantage to guests visiting EPCOT. For example, you could use your top-tier Lightning Lane Multi-Pass for Frozen Ever After or Soarin’ Around the World.
