Don’t miss the top things you can experience at what may be one of the best theme park expansions in history!
Overview
The story is set in 1920s wizarding Paris, inspired by the “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” series. You will find shops, cafés, and magical creatures there.
Your mission is to ensure that a notorious villain in the wizarding world gets what they deserve.
You can also use the Métro-Floo to travel to the 1990s Ministry of Magic in London from the “Harry Potter” films.
Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry
Voldemort is very evil, but Dolores Umbridge’s cruelty feels disturbingly familiar. She hurts others who have less power, including Hogwarts students, because she has authority.
After Voldemort’s defeat, she will face trial in London for her many crimes.
When you arrive, you will take omnidirectional lifts (elevators for my fellow Americans) to the trial location. If Umbridge tries to escape before her trial, we will join Harry, Ron, Hermione, and a house-elf named Higgledy to chase after her to see that she finally faces justice for her crimes.
Le Cirque Arcanus
Skender, the ringmaster of Le Cirque Arcanus, has stolen the suitcase, hoping the magical creatures inside will save his struggling circus. Now, it’s up to circus worker Gwenlyn to rescue these creatures.
Pirate Tip: Keep an eye out for a Demiguise and Mooncalves!
The show features talented performers, advanced puppetry, and amazing special effects that make you wonder where the effects end and the magic begins.
Eateries
If you have a big sweet tooth and have enjoyed treats from Hogsmeade, Diagon Alley, and modern Muggle Paris, then you’ll love K. Rammelle, a French Confections shop. It will be exciting to see what happens when wizarding food mixes with French sweets.
As you enter, look at the spinning carousels and Ferris wheels made of sweets in the storefront window. You can have breakfast, lunch, or dinner outside or indoors surrounded by beautiful marble and mosaics of fantastic beasts.
Then at, Café L’air De La Sirène, you can choose from sandwiches, daily specials, French baked goods, and desserts! You can also get Butterbeer and a variety of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
Don’t forget to see the impressive croquembouches, a cone-shaped tower made of nearly 2,000 cream puffs!
If you’re 21 or older, visit Bar Moonshine, an American bar. Enjoy 1920s cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks like Butterbeer, all in an American-themed setting featuring Quidditch team pennants.
Shops
Don’t let the name of this shop fool you, it’s not a bakery with baguettes. Instead, Cosme Acajar Baguettes Magique is where you’ll find Cosme Acajor’s collection of wands, each one an artistic masterpiece.
Each wand comes in these incredibly elegant three-sided boxes, which represent the three key aspects of a wand: material, core, and length.
Your interactive wand comes with a map of where you can practice your spell-casting throughout the wizarding world.
Then, at Tour En Floo shop, you can shop for wizarding world T-shirts and sweatshirts to wear while you’re snuggled up writing, as well as backpacks to carry all your writing materials, plus a book or two.
