Details Released for New Disney Vacation Club Lounge

A new Disney Vacation Club lounge is set to open in Magic Kingdom. Disney has just released details about this new lounge!

Disney Vacation Club or DVC is Disney’s timeshare. Members book rooms and stay in deluxe accommodations for a fraction of the cost.  Check out all the details of DVC HERE. 

Eligible Members can enjoy Membership Extras that include benefits such access to Disney Vacation Club lounges.

Eligible Members can visit the Disney Vacation Club ImaginAtrium – A Member Lounge in EPCOT and Gateway to Discovery – A Disney Vacation Club Welcome Home Center (not considered a lounge but a gathering space).

New Details Revealed

Disney Vacation Club will open their first-ever Member Lounge in Magic Kingdom. This lounge space was inspired by boarding houses that housed travelers during the Gold Rush.

Disney Vacation Club McKim’s Mile House – A Member Lounge will be the first Member Lounge in Magic Kingdom.

The lounge, Disney Vacation Club McKim’s Mile House – A Member Lounge, got its name as a tribute to Disney Legend Sam McKim. He was “a Western-film-star-turned-Disney Imagineer whose visionary artwork helped shape some of Disney’s most iconic places in Frontierland and beyond.”

When Will it Open and What Will it Offer?

The lounge will takeover what was formerly the Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade. It is expected to open in the summer of 2025. Hours of operation are to be announced.

The lounge will feature: Charging cords (first-come, first-served basis), comfortable seating, complimentary soft drinks, a children’s entertainment area, and WiFi.
