A Disney vacation can be expensive, and one new experience can make that price even higher. This pricey and extremely limited experience just sold out for the first time at Disney World.
Lightning Lane Premier Pass
Disney has recently rolled out a new add-on service called Lightning Lane Premier Pass (Premier Pass or LLPP for short), which allows Guests to enter the Lightning Lane entrance without booking an arrival window. It is important to note that the Premier Pass only allows access to the park it was purchased for.
Be sure to read HERE for everything you need to know about Disney’s Premier Pass.
Guests staying at a Deluxe/DVC Resort, Swan and Dolphin, and Shades of Green are currently eligible to purchase LLPP. We are unsure if that will ever change, but Disney has made it clear this product is very limited in quantity.
SOLD OUT for the First Time
The very expensive Lightning Lane Premier Pass has sold out for the very first time. The Premier Pass has sold out for both Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios on Monday, November 25, 2024.
The Lightning Lane Premier Pass has sold out for both Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios on November 25, 2024.
November 25th is the Monday before Thanksgiving, and people are planning for the parks to be busy! Hollywood Studios Premier Pass was priced at $309 per person and Magic Kingdom was priced at $379 per person.
What Does This Mean for You?
If you are staying at a qualifying hotel and planning to purchase the Lightning Lane Premier Pass, we recommend that you purchase it as soon as it’s available to you. You can purchase the Premier Pass 7 days before your arrival date.
If the Premier Pass is a must, be sure to purchase as soon as available to you. We recommend a good touring strategy versus the splurge!
What we really recommend? With a good touring strategy this splurge may not be worth it. Be sure to have a good plan by using Character Locator!
