Guests can find single rider options throughout Disney World. A popular ride has just opened its single rider line, and we are very excited!
Single Rider Lines
Single rider lines are separate lines in select attractions for those traveling solo or those that don’t mind riding the attraction without the rest of their party. Basically, single riders get placed wherever there is a seat available.
Typically, the line is much shorter than the regular standby queue, which means less waiting in line!
Attractions at Disney World that use single rider access include Expedition Everest, Test Track (under refurbishment), Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster, and Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run. Occasionally Soarin’ and Rise of the Resistance offer a Single Rider Line.
Signs of Single Rider in EPCOT
Recently, we reported that Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure vehicles had new labeled seat numbers. You can read more about that HERE.
Since Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure first opened in 2021, guests have noticed a single rider sign located at this attraction. Unfortunately, it was never used.
It was speculated that this could have Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure offering a single rider option soon. With the seats clearly labeled, it would be easy for cast members to assign all of the seats and add a single rider with smaller parties.
Single Rider Testing
It was reported that yesterday, Monday November 18th, that the single rider line at Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure was opening. The single rider option is a limited time test, but we are hopeful that it will stick around!
Please note that when using the single rider line all groups will be separated and placed in separate vehicles.
The single rider line is not available during Early Entry. It is to be determined if it will be offered during Disney After Hours or Extended Evening Hours for Deluxe Resorts. Regardless, we are excited for this addition and hope it’s here to stay!
