New Villain Attractions
During the big D23 fan event in September, Disney officially announced plans for Villains Land. Villains Land will be located at Disney’s Magic Kingdom as part of the “Beyond Big Thunder” expansion. Check out the many villains to be featured in this new land HERE.
Josh D’Amaro announced that there will be 2 attractions, dining, shopping, and more. Work will begin in 2025 for this new expansion.
This large expansion will take several years. Thankfully, Walt Disney World will welcome a new villain’s experience at Disney’s Hollywood Studios very soon.
New Villains Show News
Our once-perfect Walt Disney World is about to get a villainous makeover. Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, get ready for Sunset Boulevard to be transformed for a new villain’s show in the summer of 2025.
Last night during the “Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular”, Disney revealed the name for this new show as “Disney Villains Unfairly Ever After”.
We absolutely love this clever take on our favorite nighttime show “Happily Ever After”. This new show will feature appearances by dozens of the most infamous evildoers. Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, and Maleficent will delight guests in live production numbers.
Show Location
Sadly, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy officially closed in October to serve as the new theatre for “Disney Villains Unfairly Ever After”. Disney recently filed new permits for this space and brand new seating is coming among other exciting changes.
Disney just revealed that the new villain show will be “Disney Villains Unfairly Ever After”.
Nestled in the shadows of the Tower of Terror, this is the perfect location for this villainous extravaganza. An official opening date is not yet announced, but rather a promise of summer 2025.
