Disney Vacation Club Is Going to Become Even More Expensive

If you are looking to become a Disney Vacation Club Member or even thinking about adding on points, then you should act fast. Disney Vacation Club is gearing up to become even more expensive.

Disney Vacation Club, or DVC for short, is Disney’s version of a time share. This time share works by a point system, that allows Members flexibility on booking category and when they want to travel.

Because of this flexible point system, you are never stuck with a particular week or type of accommodation. Members can bank and borrow points to create the vacation of their choice!

Price Increase

Disney Vacation Club is scheduled to increase their price per Vacation Point. This change will take effect on February 11, 2025.

The DVC resorts at Disney World that are impacted are Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, Disney’s Riviera Resort, and The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort – A Disney Vacation Club Resort. Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas in Hawaii and The Villas at Disneyland Hotel will also increase.

Disney Vacation Club price per Vacation Point will increase on February 11, 2025.

The Polynesian Villas, Riviera, The Cabins at The Fort and Aulani will increase from $225 to $235. The Villas at Disneyland Hotel will increase from $239 to $245.

What Does This Mean for You?

If you are debating on becoming a DVC Member or adding on points to one of these five resorts, you should make your decision soon. Be sure to purchase your Vacation points before this increase on February 11, 2025.

The other previously “sold out” resorts (for example Bay Lake Tower and Saratoga Springs) are always priced individually and their price per Vacation point are subject to change at any time.
