Now, making your way around Walt Disney World is even easier. Don’t miss out on this route that will have you soaking in all of the magic and enjoying all of the fun of the Disney Parks even easier.
Disney Transportation
When Walt Disney gazed at the “Florida Project,” he shared that Florida had a “blessing of size” that they didn’t have in Disneyland. There are so many different ways to travel around Walt Disney World to the theme parks. With the monorail, bus transportation, and Disney’s Skyliner, it’s easy to get around, but some transportation options are quicker than others.
However, you may find you save a whole lot of time and annoyance by walking when possible rather than waiting for a bus, boat, Skyliner, or Monorail. For one thing, you do not have to wait to walk. You can just go when you are ready.
If you walk, you also don’t really have to worry about lines, crowds, delays, or breakdowns. So, it eliminates some stress if you are a worrier. Walking gives you some measure of control over your travel to and from the parks.
Walking to the Magic
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa received a walking path of its own not too long ago. The walkway also connects the Polynesian to the Magic Kingdom via a walking path as well!
As we all know, construction has been ongoing at Disney’s Polynesian resort. Work is being done on the Polynesian Disney Vacation Club Tower, which is now open to guests.
During this construction, the walkway that connected Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Disney’s Polynesian Resort closed back in September 2023. Over a year later, this walkway is now open to all guests.
Newly Reopened Transportation
Guests now once again can enjoy a continuous walking path from Disney’s Polynesian Resort. During the construction, guests at Disney’s Polynesian Resort were not allowed to walk to the Magic Kingdom.
The walkway at Disney’s Polynesian Resort is now fully open to guests.
Guests can now walk from the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, to Disney’s Wedding Pavilion, to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and walk all of the way to the Magic Kingdom.
