Mardi Gras is on the way to Universal Orlando! Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval is an event that will last from February 1 – March 30, 2025.

Enjoy a spectacular parade on select nights, outrageous street performers, vibrant music, colorful costumes and countless beads flying through the air. You can savor mouthwatering food including authentic Cajun specialties and flavors from around the world, available for purchase.

Best of all, MOST of the Mardi Gras festivities are included with your theme park admission. However, there is one special add on that is sure to sell out.

Be Part of the Parade

Universal Orlando Resort offers visitors a special guaranteed opportunity to be a part of the Mardi Gras Parade that takes place on select days at Universal Studios. Guests simply need to reserve the Mardi Gras Float Ride and Dine Experience!

The package includes a guaranteed spot on one of Universal’s spectacular Mardi Gras parade floats. You will get to toss beads to the guests who are lined up to watch the floats! It also provides a meal at a participating restaurant.

Meal choices include Finnegan’s Bar & Grill or Lombard’s Seafood Grille at Universal Studios Florida or Confisco Grille at Universal Islands of Adventure (if you have a Park-to-Park ticket). If you prefer CityWalk, you can choose among: Pat O’Brien’s® (dinner only), The Cowfish® Sushi Burger Bar, NBC Sports Grill & Brew, Antojitos Authentic Mexican Food, or Bob Marley–A Tribute to Freedom (dinner only).

The experience costs $89.99 per person plus tax. Space is limited, so be sure to reserve a spot if it is something you want to do.

Theme park admission to Universal Studios Florida is required, and it is not included in the price of the package. Annual Passholders can save 15% off the cost of the package.

Package reservations are open now!

Participants do have to be at least 48″ tall to ride the floats. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
