Wicked is a smash hit in the theaters, and now we know when you can watch it from the comfort of your own home. And, it is happening surprisingly SOON!

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment’s Wicked movie has flown into theatres and captured hearts across the country. The movie, which was adapted from the hit Broadway musical, debuted at number 1 when it hit theatres in November.

Them has since maintained a top 3 spot each week. In fact, it has smashed records by becoming the highest-grossing Broadway musical adaptation of all time at the domestic box office. It is the second highest grossing internationally, behind Mama Mia.

Its theatrical run is wrapping up. And, now we know when you can see it at home if you want to watch it for the first time or rewatch it before part two, titled Wicked: For Good, comes out.

Wicked Digital Release Date

Wicked is coming to a platform you can enjoy from the comfort of your own home sooner than you might think! In fact, you can watch it in just a few days!

Wicked hits digital streaming platforms on December 31, 2024. You read that right.

So where can you watch it? Wicked will be available for digital streaming from platforms including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Fandango at Home, Comcast Xfinity, Cox, and Microsoft Movies & TV.

Physical Media

Of course, many movie fans still prefer physical copies of their favorite films. If you are looking for the film on DVD, Blu-Ray, or 4K UHD, you can pick it up on February 4, 2025. Pre-orders are open now.
