If the past couple of years are any indication, we will want to quickly grab our tickets for the special events at Disney World. One is already sold out for the new year.
Special Events
Do you remember when ALL the Walt Disney World Parks would offer late evening hours? This was before 2020, and slowly, as the parks returned to pre-pandemic protocols, Disney introduced Extended Evening Hours for Deluxe Resort Guests ONLY and Disney After Hours for guests hoping to enjoy the parks even later who were not staying in a Deluxe resort.
Disney After Hours are specially ticketed experience after the gates close for the night. They extend access to attractions and provide you with more opportunities to have a magical Disney experience.
Some guests feel like this is worth the high price to experience the parks with low crowds; while others think Disney Parks should simply extend regular theme park hours to give guests more time in the parks.
Sold Out
Walt Disney World limits the number of tickets for these After Hours Events. In the past couple of years, dates sell out quickly for these events.
Before we even ring in 2025, the first After Hours date for 2025 is already sold out for January 6, 2025, at the Magic Kingdom.
Disney After Hours ticket prices range from $175 to $185 (plus tax) for Magic Kingdom, $155 to $175 (plus tax) for EPCOT, and $155 to $185 (plus tax) for Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Act Quickly
Despite the high price tag, many guests love After Hours events. Guests enjoy shorter wait times for attractions, meet favorite characters, and enjoy complimentary snacks such as ice cream, popcorn, and select drinks.
Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members can purchase discounted tickets at EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.
Our best pirate tip is to purchase your After Hours tickets early, as these are already selling out. You can see a full list of 2025 dates HERE.
